A good company to work for
Warehouse Worker (Current Employee) – Dickson, TN – 22 September 2017
For anyone curious about the hiring process, I'll give a step by step of what I went through.
After applying you'll get a call from the hiring manager to set up an interview. It could take a week or several weeks, for me it took a couple months to hear back. Once you do your interview and are offered the position things move pretty fast from there.
You'll need to setup your drug test AND physical. They don't mess around here. You're drug tested, your vision and hearing are tested, you're seen by a doctor who will test your reflexes, your balance, etc.
Next is the background check. You'll be sent an email from HR that'll link you to the agency who conducts the background checks. Please read carefully: do not lie about your employment history. Past employers will be contacted and EVERYTHING you put, from dates of employment, salary, job duties are checked. Everything is verified. Any discrepancy the agency finds will be inquired about by HR.
Once the results come back and are cleared then you'll set a date for orientation. Orientation is an 8 hour ordeal where you learn about the company and its policies. You'll fill out and sign a bunch of paperwork. Youll get a tour of the warehouse. After this you'll have to do another training day where you learn how to use the forklifts and walk along fork truck.
Break room is filled with food for free, awesome company policies, a really good company to work for
