Warehouse Worker (Current Employee) – Orlando, FL – 13 July 2016
Anyone who is considering employment at Martin Brower in Orlando, Florida, be ready to sign your free time away. They make you work six days a week and sometimes seven day stretches. Also if you're an new employee, be ready to only have a Tuesday or Wednesday off for the next two to three years. Management doesn't have a clue what they are doing. Thieves, brown nosers and people that don't have any idea of how to maintain a shift are promoted before anyone else. So forget about getting recognized for your hard work and things you achieve in this place. If you're not one of the three types of people I've mentioned, forget about getting promoted. Let's not even get started on their whole C.A.R.E.S core values. If they cared about anyone and actually recognized how people work so hard, why would they have a point system which only extends to seven occurrences and while they know that they are working you six and seven day work weeks. That's including tardiness and sick calls. That's right! You read it correctly. Arriving late and calling in sick count as the same. So if you're late one minute after the so-called five minute window....you might as well turn around and go home because they are writing you up as if you are absent. Ask anyone who works there in the warehouse. So good luck to anyone that doesn't take my advice. You're probably better off working somewhere else.
Can't really think of any for anyone that works in the warehouse!
