Honest Review
Cabin Cleaner (Current Employee) –  San Francisco, CA20 February 2018
Working at Menzies was very easy but stressful. A regular work day required us to perform security searches on the overnight aircrafts and to ensure the aircrafts were all clean and stocked for new passangers. The hardest part of the job was trying to work with people who think they're better than others on a daily basis.
Pros
Lots of downtime
Cons
Lots of gossip and personal problems

Gross break rooms
Ramp Agent (Former Employee) –  Seattle, WA17 February 2018
After you're hired you sit in a class for a week and take tests. Most teachers talk to people while you take your tests so its very distracting. The break rooms were the grossest, probably never cleaned. Also, management wasn't very helpful. it took 3 weeks to get a new uniform.
Cons
management, gross break rooms

Fueler/Lead Fueler (Current Employee) –  Philadelphia, PA16 February 2018
Pay rate is lower than should be, workers are treated unfairly. Typical day at work is fast paced not too bad. The main problem is the management and the way workers are treated.
Pros
Lots of overtime opportunites
Cons
Lack of good leadership and good environment

Hard and aggressive working here
Shift Manager (Former Employee) –  JFK International Airport13 February 2018
Had to work with international and along with local air carriers. Also had to manage a staff of over 60 employees lower managements and subordinates. Always had to ensure that all FAA, FDA, and all other federal regulations required were being followed as expected by company policies, so this was aggressive and far more intents while managing over 60 employees.

Cabin Cleaner (Former Employee) –  Fort Lauderdale, FL 3331510 February 2018
A typical day consists of about 7 flights and the environment is quick paced. The transportation to and from flights was inconsistent which required you to walk from terminal to terminal. The hours are there but the benefits are minimal.

Ramp Agent (Current Employee) –  Gatwick Airport Station, West Sussex7 February 2018
If you can handle early starts and late finishes then you`ll do ok. Lifting heavy bags is a daily requirement, you will get hot and sweaty in summer and cold and wet in winter.
Pros
pay is reasonable
Cons

Do not work here
Ramp Agent (Current Employee) –  Wichita, KS6 February 2018
Pay is garbage, management plays favorites, no bonus at all. A very dirty and cutthroat business. Supervisors and upper management do not care about your well being. Work enough and not having time to use benefits. No sick time and benefits are more expensive than they are worth. If you want to move up in company work early mornings. Worst company I've worked for.
Pros
Nothing good about this place.
Cons
Everything is bad.

Frustrating place to work
Fueler (Former Employee) –  Santa Ana, CA2 February 2018
overall it's okay if you were okay with low pay and no chance of advancing. The only thing management cares about is that planes get fueled. The equipment is constantly broken and management refuses to fix knowing that employees are forced to break their backs to get the job done anyway. Don't expect to have a steady schedule, it's likely to change on a weekly basis without notice. Judging by the fact that the dungeon of a break room hasn't been cleaned in what looks like decades you can clearly see how much management actually cares about the employees.
Pros
Mgmt doesn't care about anything and let's employees break all the rules.
Cons
Equipment, management, unsteady schedule, break room

Menzies is not paying Newark ramp agents like the others.
Ground Operations Agent (Current Employee) –  Newark, NJ31 January 2018
Menzies Aviation is paying Newark airport ramp agents 10.20 and we got no flight benefits compared to other locations where Menzies Aviation pays 12.00 to regular Ramp Agents and they get flight benefits.

It's just unfair.
#Overworked.
#Understaff.
#Underpaid.
Pros
Good Hours
Cons
Management is "Getto" and very disrespectful.
