The Position

Monitoring and supervising the delivery of goods to European retailers and proactive management of the process chain.
Problem-solving of escalations and developing short-notice solutions for supplying customers, even in exceptional circumstances.
Communicating with our customers as well as agreeing on customer-specific solutions.
Arrange for transport of cargo, availability of equipment and agree rates where no tariffs exist, maximise cost effectiveness, ensure accounting deadlines are met.
Contingency back up solutions.
Traffic Control, Consolidation and Cost Management of all freight.
Management of Carrier performance (daily, weekly etc).
Document control, ensuring all shipping and freight documentation is 100% accurate.
Summarising and interpreting reports for internal as well as external purposes.
Closely collaborating with the warehouse and monitoring scheduled suppliers.
Internal and external query management.
Perform and implement general administration, invoicing, filing, queries, claims, check costs in accordance with departmental requirements.
You will be required to be flexible in this role and must be prepared to perform other tasks and undertake additional duties in any area of the business as determined by Management. These tasks may be outside your normal work area.
The Person

Fluent speaker in Italian and Spanish.
Degree/Diploma in (International) Business Management, logistics or an equivalent/comparable education.
Experience in outbound logistics particularly with regards to consumer electronics products. Experience in Freight Administration/Coordination.
Having demonstrated integrity in business relations and business acumen.
Experience in working in international teams.
Demonstrated understanding of truck movements/freight systems etc.
Ability to work as part of a busy team and on own initiative.
