The Central Bank of Ireland is currently seeking to recruit Senior Claims Professionals for a number of vacancies in our Retail & Wholesale Insurance Supervision divisions.
Key responsibilities would include the following:
Providing technical support and expert advice to the supervisory teams for insurance and reinsurance companies.
Evaluation of the key claims processes and controls, including file management rules, claims estimation procedures, litigation management, audit and quality assurance controls, anti fraud measures etc.
Supporting on-site inspection teams, including participation in visits to companies.
Applicants must have at least seven years’ experience, working in a senior claims role in an insurance or reinsurance company. Successful candidates will possess, sound judgement and problem solving abilities and strong communication and staff management skills. In addition, the candidate will ideally have a good understanding of current regulatory issues in the insurance industry in Ireland.
