Role Overview

We are seeking a professional and reliable Part-Time Security Officer to provide security services at AirNav in Cork. The successful candidate will support site operations by maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.

Key Essentials

  • Valid PSA Security Licence
  • Own transport (sites are not generally served by public transport)
  • Good oral and written English
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
  • A friendly, helpful, and professional manner

Requirements

  • Officers must maintain a neat and professional appearance (uniform provided)
  • A polite and respectful approach in all interactions with colleagues, AirNav employees, contractors, and visitors
  • Must be willing to undergo a background check and Garda Vetting

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor and patrol CCTV systems
  • Conduct foot patrols and CCTV patrols as required
  • Record all visitors and contractors entering and exiting the site
  • Issue and collect visitor and contractor badges
  • Open and secure buildings as required
  • Complete reports during each shift and submit via email
  • Report security incidents, safety concerns, and equipment failures
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues on site and across other AirNav locations
  • Receive and record pre-announced deliveries
