Sales Assistant in Monaghan
Stressful and not rewarding
I worked for this company for 4 months and was "temporary let go" due to covid. They do not reward staff in any way, i was only ever placed on evening shifts and almost all weekend even after asking for different hours. Constant change in management. Hard work is not appreciated. Open 24/7 so it means you gotta work on Christmas and New year's. Minimum wage with no way of increase. Empty promises made. Not paid 30 min lunch on 8 hours shifts. Only part time contracts given even though i was doing 37.5 hours per week.
Bakery Assistant in Swords
Avoid!!!!!!Avoid!!!!!!!! Over worked, under paid, and you get no respect at all. very stressful place to work.......Your doing 3 people's work and being paid min wage.
Its a job.
This is an ok place to work. Its just for the money which is minimum wage at best. They dont care about their workers. They take themselves too seriously for what they do.
Fuel tanker driver in Dublin
Good place to work
I have worked indirectly for applegreen delivering petrol/diesel all over Ireland for the past 11/12 yrs i have been with them through good times and bad but the job got done I have been there with new trainees and have always tried to show them the way to get the job done safely and properly. Delivering to forecourt is a very different job than delivering to depots because of the amount of public around they don't understand the danger of delivering petroleum products so you have to be very aware of the public at all times
Barista in Castlebellingham South, County Louth
Good place to work.
I have been working for Applegreen for over a year in Dundalk then I moved to the M1 Castlebellingham South. I like it there and everyone on site, it's good craic with work colleagues and customers, we get 50% discount in Bakewell, it's a nice atmosphere which reflects well to customers. Management are very accommodating with requesting time off and I like the security of working for a big company.
