Reviews about Pay & benefits for Customer Service Representative at Argos
ok
not a bad place to work, staff are friendly enough.
money is poor and living wage is poor
again for kids while studying ,
if want to gain experience its a good place, but to feed your family you'll starve

Fun work place
Argos is a great place to work for a starting out job. When you do well you get rewards with one for all cards which is great for morale. The discount is 10% which is good for high priced items where you would get €20-€30 off but had when something is only €40 or so. The hours can be dreadful, and could be as short as three hours a day which isn't great, I was paid above minimum wage which was another bonus. Argos teach you a lot about the business world and you could be doing different things every day for example tills on Monday, stock room on Tuesday and jewellery on Wednesday. It's a fun place to work but not for more than. Two three years when you may only be on a five hour contract and get paid less than €50 a week.
Pros
Friendly staff and management, incentives.
Cons
Short hours, small contracts
