Avoid if possible!
I would not recommend working here. Some of the duty managers are helpful and approachable but most of the senior managers are condescending and unapproachable. The way some of the senior managers speak to staff is shocking especially considering the hard work staff are doing due to low staff numbers. The site manager is oblivious to all the problems and doesn't address any of the issues that are causing people to leave. When an attempt is made to speak to him he just relays useless facts and figures at you and doesn't seem to actually care about your opinion. He also gets very defensive which makes it so hard to have a productive conversation with him.

Not a nice place to work
I have worked in the Aura Holohan group for a little under two years. It is not a nice place to work. Management are poor and have no consideration for their employees. The gossip culture within the centre is rife, especially since the covid 19 pandemic. Although you make friends for life by working here that does not quantify for the treatment you receive from the hierarchy. You essentially cannot be sick, even for a day as if you are you will be stripped of whatever responsibilities you had and you are then degraded.....A lot of cowardliness within the centre, HR is given as the reason for a lot of things even though they are not to blame. Staff are overworked to the point where they have no option but to leave for the sake of their own health. incompetent Duty Managers also an issue . If those walls could talk they would write the next best selling book .....

A decent workplace
In general it’s a fine place to work. A lot of paperwork, HR and Health and Safety that feels a little overkill. It can take away from the actual job a little and feels a bit too much. Far too many ‘systems’ that are used to ‘streamline’ processes, but ends up becoming annoying

Very strong culture
Management have ingrained their culture into every aspect of the business. This has provides a clear structure and goal for employees at every level of the organisation
