Excellent name to have on your cv if you just joint job market, 2-4 years with BNP and you can move to another bank or companu that will pay you well based on your expertise. Salaries paid by BNP are very low as management focus is on quantity rather than quality.
Filled with academics. Crammed with creaking management pre-longing retirement, and fostering poor workplace morale. Innovation is a dirty word in this company, and any mention of change viewed as the word that begins the process of early dismissal. No real mid-level forum to engage senior management, and all employees striving to stay afloat in their individual role, instead of productive and positive.
Some nice people to work with. Standard salary. Awful work culture, poor systems, poor management, sink or swim environment- honestly I would not recommend to anyone. There is no structure to BNP in which leads to a poor work environment and overall lack of motivation among staff. Higher management needs to take action and stop avoiding the issues which are known to them.
Decent work/life balance
Poor culture, centered environment, no training, poor systems, poor management.
The positives of BNP was the salary, the location & the people I met. The downside was at my time there was alot of changes going on of team leaders which created uncertainty with so many new starters. This coupled with large amount of overtime. At month end you could work a 15 hour day.
Long Hours, Staff turnover, working atmosphere
No credit for coming in early. Expect to work through lunch and overtime, even weekends as staff leaving in droves due to overworked and cannot/Will NOT replace. AWFUL Place. No acknowledgement from senior management. Communication is terrible.
Free fruit Mondays & Wed.
Long hours, work weekends, no communication from senior management.
Deadline orientated position with high volumes of work at month end. The role involved preparing reports, processing and dealing with clients and other departments
Good work life balance, social aspects, training courses
Fortis was an excellent company to work for. I had a very good facilities manager and this made the working environment a pleasant one. Employees were expected to be efficient but with a relaxed air.
Comfortable working environment
12 hour days were long when travelling tiime is considered
