Deputy Manager in County Tipperary
Wouldn’t recommend working here
Low pay, treated like you are children by management, you are literally just a number to this company they’d replace you and not think twice, don’t appreciate anything you do are always expecting more.
Cashier in North Dublin, County Dublin
Do not work here
Long arduous hours, poor pay management that couldn't care less about you or any other member of staff. When reopening after lock down the staff were told that their two week paid summer holidays were used to help pay them over the lock down even though boyles had taken advantage of the covid-19 payment scheme while head office workers did not lose their holidays at all
Horrible company to work for
Stay well away from this company, Staff are not valued/appreciated for their work, managers deal with situations in an unprofessional manner, sick days your more likely to get a disciplinary than to be asked if you're okay. They overwork you to the backbone for very little pay and no staff incentive, you dont get thanked for nothing and I've worked with a lot of staff and a lot of high up managers that just literally do nothing but talk and give out about each other. I wouldnt reccomend this company to anyone
Overall not a great company
Rubbish company to work for. Stay well clear. If you're interested in football and horse racing you might enjoy working there. I'd rather watch paint dry than working for this joke of a company again.
perfect for students/part time only
worked here for a number of years full time. Used to close at 6.30pm during "winter hours" which was perfect but once the long 13hour shifts were introduced it was time to move on. Left working alone with no breaks if a colleague was out sick. "Canteen" had a stool, kettle and microwave all right beside the toilet. Barely any room to move. Staff are not looked after. All about the money
