This is the worst run company on the face of the planet. If you want a good laugh and see how things shouldn’t be done then by all means take a job here. The managers are clueless, the pickers don’t care and the drivers are constantly leaving because the money is rubbish. The Area Manager has forbidden Christmas parties and the Christmas bonus as well, he’s basically cancelled Christmas!!! Working here will be the worst mistake you ever make.
No upside to working here.
Too many to list.
BWG Foods is a good place to work. It is a very busy environment which is challenging (so you have to like a challenge to work there!). They are dynamic and are constantly changing and adapting. Loyal and committed employees are rewarded with career advancement. It is up to each individual to prove themselves and their capability. Flexibility is also important as they change to ensure they are constantly improving. The hardest part of the job is that it is a fast paced environment, but that also keeps it interesting. The most enjoyable part of working there is the dynamic culture and the commitment of so many of the people that work there.
Great experience Great direction/ work on my own inititive Like the culture Vision Team Players Manager Supportive Flexibility Communication
great people. great place and great environment
nothing at the moment
Having worked with this Company for 15 years, I have had great opportunity to learn and develop. I have grown my career working with a wide variety of personalities, all gunning for the same thing....success! Being a fast paced business, no two days are the same and the business is constantly looking at strategic initiatives and ventures, meaning things are constantly changing and never dull or boring. This makes it both challenging but very enjoyable in a culture where people like to see success. It is a great culture, fast paced, creative and willing to try new ideas.
Exciting, interesting, great developmental opportunities
Good place to work as it’s not all hands on deck but the management is poor and some of the employees are too slow and lazy. It’s very easy to get institutionalised here as well.
Easy work and nice refurbished building
The people that work there
Daily organising of orders to be picked and processed for next day delivery. Highly target driven with hourly pixing rates to be met. Iearned time management and also people management skills to ensure our targets were met. The management were very supportive and offered advise regularly. The hardest part of the job was the hours of work being 4pm to 1am Monday to Friday. The most enjoyable part was the satisfaction of being able to manage a team of people and in most cases exceed our weekly targets.
Free canteen facilities and staff discounts on products.
Long hours, poor work/life balance, location was northside, work was very psyhical.
I worked for this company for almost six years and for the most part I really enjoyed the role, like most jobs there were good days and some bad, but in fairness the good will always out weigh the bad. I learned a lot while working in this role , but most of the learning was done carrying out the job on a daily basis Our Line Manager was excellent to work under and would have no issues there The team I worked with were always willing to offer any help and assistance when needed I supposed the hardest part of the Job was the amount of time spent Travelling to cover remote and rural area's, but when you achieved what you set out to do then it was always worthwhile
Left to work on your own initative
