Zero hrs contract but expect you to commit 12 months
Care Assistant/Senior Care Assistant (Former Employee) – Huddersfield, West Yorkshire – 7 February 2018
2 days of training paid @ £7.50 ph, but you dont see money til your 2nd pay month , then you go out shadowing again don't see that til your 2nd pay month, you have to pay £60 upfront for dbs check, get that back after 6 months. Overall the classroom training is good, and then you do your shadowing for a couple of shifts again no complaints, then you are given your rota for the following week to be paid for 10hrs, you would need to be out from 6am-9.30pm over 15hrs with a 2 hour break in the middle of your day, mileage is 10p per mile!
Basically for a normal 40 hr weeks pay, you would need to work about 50-55hrs, and claim back your extra mileage allowance from the tax office.
If you give the job up before 12 months they will take your training money, shadowing money and an extra £80 charge from your last wage.
