Good place to work with onsite catering and low cost meals. There is a good company culture but has room to improve.

Nice environment
Customer Advisor (Current Employee) - Dublin - 20 October 2019
Nice working environment, good coworkers. But absolute micromanaging, at least in my department. There are things to be improved in the service we provide, they actually asked for every workers opinion which I appreciate. Still not sure if that will change things.

Great Tech company with a lack of focus on the end consumer
CCE (Former Employee) - Dundrum, County Dublin - 10 October 2019
Cartrawler has some of the best Tech qualified personal available in Ireland. Sadly though on the customer front there is a lack of understanding and resources to stem the 30% contact rate and 60% attrition rate.

Pros
Good benefits package.
Cons
Can be difficult to get to if your not on the Luas or the correct bus route. No Parking offered.

Business model based on high turnover
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Dublin - 15 April 2019
Extremely high turnover. Management focus on attracting new staff instead of maintaining current employees. Language speakers have a higher workload and are not compensated for this. You will regret it if you join Cartrawler and speak a foreign language. The majority of top management have left over the last 6 months which is a clear sign there are problems. Agents are micro managed like children and get pulled aside if they spent too long on a toilet break
Pros
They higher very skilled and capable staff
Cons
Staff are very disatsified so they leave

Bad company to work for
Customer Service (Former Employee) - Ireland - 23 February 2019
Poor salary for the amount of work you will have to do. Your job won't be appreciate. They will lie to you from the moment you will have your interview. No progression in the company. You won't be treat like a human, you will be a robot and only thing will matter will be the number of work done. Special treatment if you are related with people within the company.
Pros
None
Cons
Everything. Hours. Overloaded with duties, salary and no benefits

Fun workplace
Graduate programme (Former Employee) - Dublin - 19 February 2019
Really enjoyed my time there. The Spots & social club is fantastic. Lots of learning opportunity and training. Great opportunity to take on responsibility early in your career.

Challenging and repetitive
CCE Sales Customer Service Executive (Former Employee) - Dublin - 11 January 2019
I worked in the very busy CCE dept. dealing with very demanding and challenging customers.
I learned a lot about the art of patience and how to be a better communicator.
The management changed a lot while I was there and change is good and needed in such an environment.
The culture overall of the company is generally good but can always be improved IF management take on board all staff suggestions and implement them.
The most difficult part of the job was the ongoing and constant IT and technical issues and overcoming very difficult conversations with upset and irate customers.
Generally most of the people I worked with made it a bearable and at times very pleasant place to work.
Pros
Free Health cover after 6 months
Cons
Very long working days and repetitive boring work

fast paced
Customer operations Team Manager (Current Employee) - Dublin - 28 November 2018
"The work needs to be done and it is fast paced but the balance of hard work and social interaction makes this much easier"
Cartrawler has some of the most approachable talented individuals who are all of a similar mindset to do what is best for the company while having fun along the way. If you give 100% there are opportunities galore. The office itself is so comfortable and spacious
Pros
free breakfats
Cons
no free snacks and lunch

Positive work place but limited rewards
Software Engineer (Current Employee) - Dublin - 28 August 2018
There is a good work life balance and a good management of the work flow that is expected from developers. So long hours in the evening are not demanded.
However rewards are limited, with salary and progression below industry standards.

Poor company to work for, very policital- one to avoid
Analyst (Current Employee) - Dundrum, County Dublin - 19 July 2018
When I first joined there was a fun, hardworking culture where effort was recognised and rewarded.
Now its just a hardworking company devoid of any teamwork, fun or morale among staff amid multiple restructures and people being let go without any exlplanation to those remaining leaving an uneasy feeling across whole departments and the organisation.
Pros
It pays
Some good genuine hardworking, clever people
Dynamic, high tech company where you can learn a lot
Nice office space
Cons
Doesn't pay well.
Previous selling points to work there around benefits and perks almost completely shelved and rolled back on since I started working there.
Very high pressure- unrealistic deadlines imposed upon your work from mgt who had little knowledge of the scale of task involved. Get it right and your manager did a great job on bringing it in on time, get it wrong and your neck was on the chopping block.
Hugely political organisation- promotions are based on being in the 'in crowd' or having worked previously in a certain online betting company.
Lack of career progression- save you fulfill either or both of the above criteria.
Lack of job security
Genuine, very capable people sidelined- saw multiple instances of workmates being passed over for less well able but politically well connected people.
Poor managment- misguide whole teams or departments along the way to demoralising those working with them without any evident purpose or end goal save for self aggrandisement of mgt.
Your ability to learn is dependent upon the luck of the draw- you can -

A big corporate that wants to be a cool trendy tech company
Cartrawler Operations (Current Employee) - Dundrum, County Dublin - 25 May 2018
A company that is desperately trying to be many things but not succeeding at any. It wants to compete with the tech companies but cannot offer the same benefits and culture. It has become big corporate and many staff are leaving after many years of service disillusioned.

Fun place to work, great people, high pressure
Cartrawler is a very good place to work. There is a really nice culture with genuinely nice people. Even though it has grown rapidly, it still has the feel of a smaller start up. This does have its down sides, at times there can be an element of disorganisation and fall down in communications. On saying this, this is recognised and improvements are going in the right direction. Cartrawler cares about its people and has a desire to improve. I am proud to work in Cartrawler and would recommend it.
Pros
Good People, good social life, events etc.
Cons
can be high pressured

Unsocialable hours, not much room for growth
Customer Operations Representative (Former Employee) - Cartrawler, Dundrum - 15 January 2018
Work as a Customer Service Representative, requires you to work towards targets and is extremely fast paced. You will often be required to work weekends and an 11:00-20:00 day.

Lack of leadership and job clarity
Content Development Manager (Former Employee) - Dundrum, County Dublin - 8 March 2017
Over the last 12 months I have really seen a lack of any real guidance or plan in a number of departments. Departments have gone through multiple structure changes and people have been let o without warning or explanation to those left behind. This created a tense and unfriendly atmosphere with no real team morale. People were asked to completely change roles at the whim of management and did not receive any clear indications to what their goals or targets were and got no proper training in these new roles.
Pros
The people for the most part are sound
Cons
lack of leadership, lack of advancement, very poor benefits, below average pay

Integracion. Divertido. Innovador.
Operations Representative (Former Employee) - Dublin, IE - 6 February 2017
