Non productive place of work

Not a great place to work, complete disregard on health and safety issues, say one thing, do another. Don't back their drivers, totes not picked properly. Company doesn't stand up for their drivers, to many chiefs, they say one thing just to try and keep you happy but don't really care

Disregard for health and safety, some egotistical people in head office, say one thing do another, vans not serviced, wait for lights to come on before anything is done, tyres on the vans are not weather related, breaks deducted even though cannot take them, no loading time of vans, returning to depot as groceries not fully picked, totes labelled wrong

Dunnes Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - Mullingar, County Westmeath - 16 January 2023

Delivery driver representing Dunnes Stores deliveries on behalf of CDS. Some CDS work colleagues immature and made lewd remarks about Dunnes staff and myself. CDS drivers lazy and did not want to do anything to help business build. Stressful for people that were willing to work and always go that bit extra.

Wery bad company

Wery bad company , Not recommended!When the form starts, a van driver works, and the next week they fire employees !bad service, they don't provide any help, they don't pay attention to people, I don't recommend working here

Nice company to work for but the salary needs to be increased to take into account the physical nature of the job.

Excellent management but considering that you are not just a driver but also responsible for delivering heavy loads of shopping to peoples doors the salary is just not good enough.

Great place to work

Van Driver (Current Employee) - Dublin, County Dublin - 21 January 2022

Everything is done for you, just show up collect your van and drive 15 - 20 minutes to collect your deliveries, can be up to 20 deliveries a day but all routed for you including break times all I have to do is show up to each delivery on time. All deliveries are in the one area not all over Ireland like last companies. By far the easiest job iv done

The saying "Everyday is a School Day" should be our Motto, I have gained so much new knowledge since joining the company in 2015. My typical day in work starts around 5am. My truck does be loaded and then I put my customers into order the way i want to do them. I then set off and deliver frozen foods to shops, schools and canteens around the Dublin and Leinster area. I find all of my co-workers fun and enjoyable to work with. Since I am on my own in the truck every day I don't see many of them except in the morning. The hardest part of my day is trying to get around Dublin city in the early morning rush hour traffic which can be tedious. The most enjoyable part of my day is dealing with my customers, most of who i have built up a friendly raptorw with
