Professional, challenging, inclusive and fun place to work
Marketing Manager (Former Employee) - Sligo, County Sligo - 20 February 2023
Trust, culture and flexibility are what truly sets Collins McNicholas apart from other employers. The company offers hybrid working options that provide great flexibility for employees, especially if you have a young family. I work 2 days in the office and 2 days from home, and there are many other variations depending on employees' needs. They also offer flexible working hours to promote a healthy work-life balance. I start and finish slightly earlier to suit creche drop-offs/pick-ups. People are generally approachable and supportive. Ideas are not only listened to, they are acted upon. The work is always interesting, and there is plenty of room to progress. Managers are open and transparent, with a clear set of priorities. There is company-wide input into strategy, progress and growth that is frequent and genuine. Values are not just printed on the wall – they are lived by daily. Everyone who walks in the door, whether a client, candidate or colleague, is treated with respect. I highly recommend Collins McNicholas as an employer.
Pros
Flexible Working Hours, Hybrid Work Policy, Benefits, bi-annual company gatherings, cross-collaboration among teams, Eap, Charity Work, Recognition Awards, Incremental Annual Leave

Great place to work and a fantastic culture
Principal Search Consultant (Current Employee) - Sligo, County Sligo - 17 February 2023
Collins McNicholas' culture is very advanced when compared to any other Recruitment companies I have worked for in the past. EVERYONE is valued - which makes it a very pleasant environment to work in. Great values when it comes to approaching clients and candidates - our NPS score is world class for a reason. I have personally turned down a higher salary offer, because its a pleasure to work here - in the recruitment industry that is sadly rare.
Pros
Flexible working hours, hybrid working, work life balance, company paid events for ALL STAFF not just the sales force, no threshold on commission
Cons

Senior Recruitment Consultant (Current Employee) - Sligo, County Sligo - 17 February 2023
Collins McNicholas has an exceptional culture, one where approachability is the norm and open communication is highly valued. Unlike other organisations I've worked for, management here is highly accessible with an open-door policy, making it easier for employees to share their thoughts and concerns. Additionally, the company offers hybrid working options that provide greater flexibility for its workforce. What truly sets Collins McNicholas apart, however, is its commitment to empowering every employee. Here, every employee's voice is heard, and every contribution is valued.

Cons
Nothing that comes to mind.
