Good Company
Financial Advisor (Former Employee) - Dublin, Ireland - 19 September 2022
Good company for training with 6-8 weeks of onboarding and a dedicated trainer and good team of people. Salary is not the best with regular turnover of staff across the sales departments. Overall good starting point for those wishing to enter the financial services industry.

Good place to work
Coordinator (Current Employee) - Dublin, County Dublin - 31 May 2022
A typical day at work for me might involve my weekly catch up with my manager, where we can discuss any challenges or opportunities in my role. I have learned a lot since starting here a few months ago, it definitely helps that I had a good onboarding process, something which I think Cornmarket does well. There is a great workplace culture with something always happening around the office - whether it be Wellness events or events for Pride Month. We will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the company shortly so that us something to look forward to!
Pros
Hybrid working, clear career progression structure in many roles, sports & social club, events
Cons

Great place to work
Existing Business Sales Agent (Current Employee) - Dublin - 6 March 2020
Great place to work overall, great social aspect to the job, good laid back management you want to put in the work for. Responsibility and advancement is definitely on the cards if you're hard working, professional and are open to it. Operations and systems could be better, some reoccurring IT and Admin issues but they are trying to improve to be fair. Overall very good workplace.

The team I worked on were really great and the experience in a pressurized environment. Wages, some management were very poor and it took too long for them to be removed from their position

I loved my time working in Cornmarket. I only had a two month contract but wished I could have found a permanent role there. You really felt like a valuable employee. The office environment was great

Friendly, fun and hard working atmosphere.
Intern (Former Employee) - Dublin, D8 - 25 May 2014
I would arrive and take a seat at my desk. Everyone else would be doing the same and we would begin to start the day of work. There would be a positive atmosphere around the office as staff members assist each other if someone is in need of assistance. The manager would be working hard at his desk and occasionally notify the office of a few tasks to take on. There was no hardest part about the job as I enjoyed all of it. You may consider falling behind schedule as the hardest part but that is just a result of your own actions. If you motivate yourself to stay focussed and on top of your work you won't have any issues and will enjoy your day far more. What I enjoyed most about the job was the air of happiness spread around the office every day as it gave you a boost of energy to keep you positive.
Pros
Fully equipped canteen. Easy Internet access, Television access, Coffee machines etc.
Cons
In my opinion there are no cons, however I have not worked there for a substantial amount of time.
