Free lunch and free psrking
Long hrs and weekends
A very positive experience with a clear role and management support for all my activities. The requirements for the job were spelt out clearly and the management style is very collaborative and supportive. Learned about the role of data analytics in the business. The most enjoyable element of the job was the level of teamwork and support.
very good terms and working conditions
All employees are very friendly and helpful. There is a great team spirit amoung the different departments. All employees hold each other to the highest standard of work and aren't afraid to make it know if you drop below that standard.
Management have very high expectations of staff. Not always realistic and sometimes unachievable targets. Good benefits package but you do work hard for them
Free canteen & other perks
Top management detached from real world on the ground
This was a great job to work at, everyone here was so helpful and friendly and there no shortage of money to get things done too, which is always great, funding is usually really hard to get. This workplace really encouraged your ideas a lot and pushed you forward with them. Very productive, relaxed environment.
Free gigs, free studio time.
I worked as part of OpEx beer. A great department where the people there thought me an awful lot. There were great people across the company but it felt as though departments were in competition with each other.
Diageo is a really great company to get you noticed, especially in markets where they are a strong presence like UK and Ireland, however the brand names do most of the talking like Guinness, Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff and Baileys - so the prestige of working for Diageo is high. However, on the flip-side Diageo's benefits and pay are generally substantially lower than their peers with re-orgs every two years which is terribly disruptive and leaves a lot of uncertainty as to your future in the company.
Great Brands that you'd be proud to work for
Poor remuneration and constant change
