Fun work place , meet new people on route
Courier Driver (Former Employee) - Kildare, County Kildare - 5 December 2022
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedIs not good when you don't have your boss directly from DPD , I. had one intermediary boss between me and DPD . We were paid at minimum wage , and they wanted us drivers to pay in case of damaging the vans . The good thing is that you learn your route you can finish early
Pros
Finish early sometimes when not busy
Cons
Heavy parcel sometimes

Worst than a Kitchen Porter
Night Sorter (Former Employee) - Annacotty, County Limerick - 12 December 2022
Deceits, manipulation, and pay are serious issues. Human Resources uses every trick in the book. Takes advantage of desperate people. Worst Job ever, and not worth it on one's CV. Just the trauma you hope to forget.
Pros
nothing
Cons
inhuman work

Parcel sorter (Former Employee) - Tipperary, County Tipperary - 30 November 2022
Extremely poor working conditions as a night sorter. Freezing cold warehouse and barely any break. People work so hard there all night to have management stroll in on day shift pointing fingers at stupid stuff.. nit picking at tired overworked staff

Stressful job
Sorter (Former Employee) - Naul, County Dublin - 10 July 2022
Job is very repetitive and is always short staffed so it is hard to be able to join as a new worker and perform well. The pay is also a joke for the hours you are working your shift will start at 12 and end when all work is completed which is all throughout the night for 10:50€
Pros
Easy work
Cons
Hours

Horrible place to work extremely unprofessional
Dpd (Former Employee) - Dpd - 16 June 2022
Extremely unprofessional senior staff . Interview process is a joke , induction is just thrown in the deep end and sink or swim. Funnily enough if you sink with absolutely no help from your boss they fire you.
Pros
Canteen tea
Cons

Jobs at DPD
Stressfull and really not worth
Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - Cork, County Cork - 13 June 2022
You work from 7 until 18.00 most of the time, and you are not paid for overtime. You are responsible for all damage to the van, you will have to pay for any small scratch. There are no sick days. You cant have a break, since they are very strict with their delivery times. It's very stressful and I would never recommend anyone this job. It's not just delivery driver, when you get in depo in the morning you have to work in the warehouse first, sort stuff. If you go to the countryside you have to drive like a crazy person on roads where you cant drive fast, but you have to, cuz of the times previously mentioned.

Fast paced
Warehouse Operative (Former Employee) - Athlone, County Westmeath - 18 May 2022
Stressful at times but for the rate of pay it’s manageable, long hours can be a challenge and balancing a social life while working nights can be tough

A good place to work, lot of fun
night sorter (Former Employee) - Athlone, County Westmeath - 28 March 2022
A good place to work, I met many people with whom I have contact so far. If there are problems, the management tries to solve and help employees as soon as possible. Work at night is quite hard but also a good hourly wage, if you work over 40 hours you will surely be satisfied. Was let go after Christmas, but probably my fault

Management (Former Employee) - Athlone, County Westmeath - 14 March 2022
Better jobs elsewhere, doesn't pay good wages, senior management not connected with what happens on the floor, nor do they care about the employees...
