dispite the covid 19 and downturn of bussiness wich happened i'd say that it was by far the best company to work for,i got so much experience in the factory under so many operations and the best of all is that you work all on your own and do your target wich is needed or more, sad to be gone.
Stay well away from the place. No loyalty to any agency employee. You get told you'll be permanent in 3 years your not. You've to do 3 different belt coarses which takes 2 years to do 1 cos they don't allow you to start your next belt straight away which leaves you open to being let go when it gets quiet. And you will get let go with the turn around. If your not pals with somebody high up there your screwed
Company doesn't care about you
12 hour shifts and 2 days and 2 nights consecutively moving a day forward from when you start so working 6 weekends in a row, no social life and upper management couldn't care less, no shift allowances on 4 cycle shift, and no benefits as your working for an agency for 3 years before you can be made permanent with the agency, no permanency with element six its self would stay clear if you fancy having any sort of life
This is company that has no interest in you as a employee. your a contract worker with no rites or job security. You work for a recruitment agency who do not have your best interests they are making money off your graft. Training is very poor bullying is so bad and no chance of full time in this company.you work shifts no proper shift allowance. No sick pay if your out for day on sick leave want doctors cert . Would advise stay away
Tell you what you want to hear but never back up
For anyone wanting to work in this company.think twice about this I only lasted few months long hours and poor pay for work.you are put on shift work straight away poor training structure.give up most of your weekends and pressure put on staff too hit targets.bulling is one aspect most staff talked about and little or no chance of being made Full time.
Nothing worth talking about
List is endless
HR non-existent and the function of same is basically non existent. Toxic working environment with little or no considerarion given to employees. Management operate a cosy cartel at the top , do not challenge each other and never challenge the status quo. Training development and progression non-existent Operations staff on long term agency contracts Poor shift allowance for unsociable working conditions If you value your sanity and dignity avoid at all costs A once reputable bluechip employer has shamefully regressed to an organisation that encourages bullying and harassment to meet unrealistic targets. Attrition rate / Staff turnover at an all-time high speaks volumes of this company.
No redeeming Qualities to Mention
The list is endless

learned all the importance of working with material in clean rooms. the importance of contamination , working with in a top of the range clean room and top of the range machines working at the highest grade. the importance of working in a friendly team environment.
Although shift work was difficult to come to terms with initially you do get used to it somewhat. As I am quite an active person and am/was involved with a local football team it was difficult to juggle both work and play. The working environment was generally good and my fellow co-workers were all very helpful and approachable. The hardest part of working in Element 6 was the long stretch of working hours. Being on your feet for 12 hours straight from 7 in the evening to 7 the next morning was difficult to motivate oneself to go through. Although at times it was difficult to come to terms with the shift work of days and evenings, everyone was well paid. The social aspects of the job were always very enjoyable.
Good work environment, good wage and benefits
Monotonous work, Long hours
