No guarantee of any hours from week to week. Very unstable hours that fluctuate frequently.
All care work is temporary and if a client is sick or goes into hospital or for respite or passes away your hours are down. No job security at all...like the previous person said, if you have a family then Family Carers probably wouldn't be an option.
Why are they advertising for a male care worker in Sligo on Indeed .ie? Isn’t this discrimination to specify a gender?
I don't think so as some older or younger male clients might only want a male carer and would feel more comfortable with a male if they had to be bathed and such.
