Insights into Fidelity International
Areas for improvement
- Feeling of personal appreciation
- Energising work tasks
- Supportive environment
Excellent to build your career - to progres your paycheck look elsewhere
Strategic Account Manager (Current Employee) - Cannon Street Station - 11 October 2022
Fidelity has been an excellent place to start my career life, where they have been very supportive in terms of professional qualifications. The company itself is also really excellent, with 99% of the people I met just super chill people to work with. It has also given me an excellent an idea about what it means to have a good company that looks after its employees, with a fantastic benefits package. THe only thing that really falls short is the actual pay - whilst I am paid decently, there are the same roles in Central london that pay a good bit more. Fidelity is a great place to go for a few years to build up your CV, get qualifications etc, but if you want to get paid big bucks, go elsehwhere for a few years and come back, because they really dont pay that well for internal promotions.

Stressful and a very unorganised environment
Client services associate (Current Employee) - Kingswood - 5 October 2022
I wouldn’t recommend this if you’re looking for long term stability. Workplace is constantly unorganised high turnover of staff. Patronising managers who micro manage

Great place to work, supportive management and over the years there were more and more opportunities for staff to speak up, as well as job mobility promotions.

Great to work
The team is very friendly and helpful and allowed me a lot of responsibility and engagement. Sometimes the work is not clearly defined so need your own judgement.

Productive
Client services associate (Current Employee) - Dublin, County Dublin - 25 May 2022
Good place to work but it can be quiet stressful. The managers there are amazing. They have fairly good progression opportunities but the post difference isn’t great.

Jobs at Fidelity International
Undervalued and overworked
Administrator (Former Employee) - Hampshire - 24 May 2022
Low salary compared to industry standard and you were given the impression that you were lucky ti have what you had. Friendly team but clicky management groups made it difficult to advance

Good Place To Work
Client Services Associate (Former Employee) - Kingswood, Surrey - 28 April 2022
Overall I enjoyed my time with FIL. Great opportunities for personal development including fully funded professional exams. Management is a bit of a mixed bag, some are truly outstanding some are promoted beyond their ability.
Pros
Training, some great managers, rewards package is quite good.
Cons
Expected to work beyond your finish time, Food in on site restaurant is dire, Expect you to be a jack of all trades.

Good employee policies but stressful working environment
Specialist (Current Employee) - Gurgaon, Haryana - 2 March 2022
environment really depends upon the team, most of the teams are understaffed and there is huge stress on existing members. Working hours are defined but you have to work way beyond that

Things could be better
CSR - Customer Service Representative (Current Employee) - Canada - 30 January 2022
Decent company with average pay and great benefits but the middle managers mostly are stale and the culture has faded away. You could do better than find a job here but it's not the worst.
