Toxic culture
For a company who prides itself on being susceptible to employees mental health wellbeing, they need to practise what they preach. There is a lack of care towards managers, and district managers want robotic managers who follow everything by the book. There isn't enough care or appreciation for what managers do.

Stressful and fast paced
Very stressful, fast paced, small salary, company only cares about target and they don’t care if the store is understaffed and you are doing work for 3 people.

Fun place to work with great opportunities for development and internal progression.
Started out as a sales assistant and worked up to store manager. The company really values a work life balance, prioritising your external hobbies/activities, ensuring everyone takes sufficient annual leave and puts great emphasis on the right to disconnect. There is a great company culture with a high level of support from upper management as well with regular training sessions developed for new managers and the ever evolving business. Going to work is like a home away from home with small tight knit teams who value each other's wellbeing.

Hard work for small salary
Face paced environment. A lot of heavy lifting. You can progress easily but the contracts are ridiculous if you are not a part of the management. Head office is only focused on the targets and don’t really care about the staffs struggles with employing and the amount of work. When I first started it was a great place to work but in the last couple of months everything within the company started to fall apart. If u email/text anyone for help you’ll wait a lot for an answer or not even get it. The money is too little for the amount of work. Too stressful environment.
