posotive workplace
I really enjoyed working here as the managers and staff are very welcoming and friendly. My typical day was catering for the public, handling cash, taking orders, cleaning, food hygiene and food safety. Fresh ways is under great management and the managers are really kind and understanding also are willing to help you if you have any difficulty. The hardest part of the job is trying to keep on top of orders and food when its really busy but its a challenge which i found interesting. The most enjoyable part of the job is engaging with all of the customers on a daily basis.

long hours, uncomfortable atmosphere
I worked there for almost 4 months and I did not enjoy my time there at all. I will admit it was good pay and if you're able to handle the hours, its a good paid job, but I did not like the atmosphere at all. I felt as though everyone was very judgmental of the new people starting when we arrived and there was a lot of hostility on the production line between many different people. The breaks are supposed to be 15 mins, 30 mins and another 15 mins but they do not allow the time it takes to go from the floor, clean off your clothes, put them all in separate lockers, go into a separate room to get your stuff, into consideration, So you're left with maybe 5-15 minutes before you have to return to the cloak room and do the whole process again.
