Good Prospects - Team Dependant
Fast paced and high pressure, very few companies doing what GM do at the same scale, so good experience to be had. That being said it very much depends on who you work for and what you do.Good benefits for permanent employees, but Opportunities to grow your career are scarce.
Application Development (Apprentice) in Limerick

Graduate roles - Use and throw policy
They employ too many graduates and apprentice, of course, they will because the apprentice role's salary is funded by the Ireland government and then they hardly keep 30% of them for permanent roles. The company has a big name and history but inside it lacks to provide proper management of IT resources and you can be removed at any time because the management does not care about you. The company is a manufacturing company, and the structure is vertical, there are political issues between some teams, and some non-ireland teams try to impose without arguments way of resolving problems, trying to attach to the known, that limit the growth of the new technologies, which would make things better and easier.
