No two days are the same at Glenman which makes it a challenging but always interesting place to work. It is a problem-solving work environment where staff pull together to support company goals, but individuals can also take the initiative and offer solutions and new ideas in an open and honest manner. Employees starting their career will learn a lot about the building construction industry in a short space of time, and there are opportunities to advance your career through continuous training and development.
Variety of tasks and challenges.
During busy periods extra hours are required.
I would strongly advise you stay well clear of this company. Notoriously bad for payment. No assistance or support given by management. No company systems are in place making it very difficult to perform your best.
No pros at all.
Terrible management skill. No company procedure, policy and systems. No support. Notoriously bad for payment.
The culture in Glenman is great with friendly colleagues that are happy to help each other out and support the overall aims of the company. The work is extremely interesting and can be slightly different every day. Senior management trust their staff to work on their own initiative to get the job done and supportive whenever any help or advice is required. I would recommend this as a place to work, especially for someone early in their career who can thrive in a fast paced, growing company.
working 39 hours a week, learned about subcontractors procurement, the hardest part of the job was when you appoint a subcontractor and in three weeks time goes bust, the most enjoyablewas to prepare cost reports
fridays finishing work early
