Managers are constantly checking on us, it's a very stressfull job.For december 24th, work is required, the problem is: for the same work some employees have double pay while others dont. Based entirely on contracts, wich is completely unfairwhen contacted about this, Hays ignored us.
perfect if you want to be treated like c**p
unfair, some employees are paid more than others doing the same task
Hays has a very fast pace environment, if you are self motivated and have the ability to hit the ground running then you are trusted to do so and therefore can earn a lot of commission doing so. The training was great, the culture is extremely engaging and spirit boosting
Hays is a great place to start your recruitment career as they would take anyone no matter the background, if person is driven enough. However, they pay is the lowest on the market and are the only rec. agency in Dublin with trash-hold. Stressful environment with no support from the managers. People usually stay around 8-10 months if they are not fired before.
I came from a big European country to work in this company. After I arrived in Ireland, they delayed my starting date ( me and others ) because they insisted about calling and sending mail to english speaking referee ( having experience only in non english speaking countries this was very difficult and not clarified from the beginning). when starting your first job in Ireland you are on emergency tax ( half salary ) until receiving and giving your PPS number to the company ( about 1 month with normal company ). I did everything I was supposed to, but after 3 months, I'm still on emergency tax, I get only half my salary. Ireland Tax administration cannot take me out of emergency tax because of Hays incompetent payroll team. I'm leaving this joke of a company as soon as possible. many many better company to work for.
At my time when I was working at Hays, I learnt a lot, and because it was first job when I was looking to change profile, and qualification, it was very pleasant experience. My typical day at work started with screening and interviewing candidates, making sure they are fully compliant and suitable for the vacancies you typically recruit for (Carpenters, Electricians, Labourers, Ground-Workers, Plumbers, etc) • Cold Calling / Business development / Networking • Negotiating with clients • On-going management of client and candidate relationships
I started working for this company and it was ok, it was my first job in Ireland so I was getting used to it. Short after I started they began to cut down our benefits and perks, the situation was so bad that I had to leave the company. After a year now and with my colleagues still working there I came to realize that the situation its gone worst

Is Indeed your favorite place to learn about companies?
Judging by Reading the reviews there is a lot of mixed feelings towards work, wages, organisational issues, and much more beneath the surface. So by those comments alone a person needs to work for the company and make your own decisions on what it is you want? Is it possible to reach your goals? If they change you have the choice to remain, leave or adjust if that fits with your life choices
Hays is a people business and fantastic team to work with. I have working in content reviews role, 1 years with the company. This is one of the best staffing firms across the globe and the right place for an aspiring talent acquisition and professional to begin their career. Intensive training, almost immediate personal accountability, plenty of freedom in execution, as well as …
Money being docked left, right and center with no explanation. It’s adding up to over €500 in the last 6 months. Absolute joke. Most stressful time of my life. Avoid
Met some good people

Very informative always
the days flew during my time in Hays, each day was action packed with a good balance between joking at work and being happy and also putting in the hard work required to get the best service possible for our clients. I learned a lot there and really enjoyed my time there
