good place to work, had a very good time working for Intel started from operations to maintenance and had to g couple of times to the US for training and the best time, but was made redundant with 1200 other persons.
Lead Technician/ Tool Owner (Former Employee) – Leixlip, County Kildare – 9 January 2018
Started at 7am, meeting with team to plan day ahead and delegate tasks. Management of team were great, very supportive and approachable. Workplace culture great. Job very demanding at times but very challenging and rewarding. Hardest part of the job was probably the early morning start. the most enjoyable part was working with a great team of people and getting the job done.
Intel is a large profitable and secure but inflexible organisation
Production Supervisor (Former Employee) – Liexlip, Kildare, Ireland – 29 November 2017
Intel is a good place to work because it is stable, the company is very profitable and employees are well rewarded (salary+shift premium+bonus). It can be a little difficult in terms of flexibility and bureaucracy, there is definitely a way of speaking and Intel vocabulary that helps one fit in.
Corporate Services Intern (Current Employee) – Leixlip, County Kildare – 16 October 2017
Fast Learning environment Quick progression Managers very open to discuss issues Daily meetings to discuss assigned projects Amount of new skills learned most enjoyable Getting a review of your progress most difficult
L2 Manufacturing Technician (Current Employee) – Leixlip, County Kildare – 10 October 2017
It's a employee friendly company. They really care with their employees if you're a blue badge. But unluckily I'm working for westerwood global don't have those benefits. Hopefully I will be given a chance to work direct to them and become a blue badge.
Manufacturing TECHNICIAN - FAB24 (Former Employee) – Leixslip, County Kildare. – 12 June 2017
I Worked there for Ten Years. Inside the FAB , Looks Like a Borg Spaceship. Goal Driven. Results Orientated. Worked to Exhaustion. Long Anti-Social Hours. Very Good Pay and Benefits. Rules for Everything which must be followed to the Letter. Life in Intel is like being in the US Army. Watch out for ERT. Eyes Everywhere watching You. Everyone is out to get you. Your "Friends" are not your Friends. Worked under Yellow Light in a Spacesuit.
