I recommend to everyone to work there. It's a company that cares about its workers. It always seeks the welfare of the employee and very supportive, with the situation of Covid-19 the company gave the best of itself. It has a very good relationship between the normal and the personal. It is very flexible when looking for work alternatives that benefit the company and the employee. Very good salary conditions. Impeccable cultural and social conditions.
Great place to work. Friendly staff, good advancement opportunities, great learning environment. Exposed to experience in a manufacturing environment but from an IT perspective.
Overall a good environment to work and learn
Not many, hardware limitations at times
it was a very professional place to work all the staff made me feel very welcome and gave me all the experience that i would need to work in a place like here in the future. i would really love to work in a place like johnson and johnson.
discounted johnson products
The company do not keep anyone on after they have completed 2 x 11 month contracts in inspections section. Very good team leader. Good working atmosphere. Very interested and efficient co-workers.
Interesting, worthwhile work
don't keep people on after 2 x 11month contracts in inspections section.
Overall Vistakon is a place where long hard hours equate to great technical experience gained but in a harsh bonus driven culture. I found the majority of process technicians were very unhappy overall with some great people and some below par management. The creed that J&J operate by might be true in some sections/departments but does not exist on production line. 12 hour shifts, month of days followed by month of nights, 24/7
Permanent contract & healthcare for whole family. Doctor on site.
tough target/bonus driven culture, long hours, poor life balance

The whole experience was very beneficial to the college course, Industrial automation and robotics. We were given a hands on taste of the type of work required of you in Industry. Met production goals, repaired machine running problems quickly and efficiently. The hours were fine, but switching from days to night month after month was difficult at times.
Great learning experience
Changing from month to month days and nights shift
I learnt a lot from Johnson & Johnson. I improved my communication skills, teamwork skills and problem solvimng skills
I was assigned to a lot of projects which required me to analyse the problems and come up with a solution to prevent it from happening again. Most projects required me to work with a team which i enjoyed a lot.
lunch was a bit expensive
Love working here but there is no job security and positions often not allocated on work performance. Great team spirit amongst staff and team lead. A bit of a disconnect between management and workers on the floor. Needs issues not recognised
Security or lack thereof
JnJ R&D project (Ethicon Biosurgery Ireland) The project was a great success even the product lost its competitiveness on the market. The team was highly educated and very well selected for the project. As part of the management team, we were focusing on our Credo to create a Job Work/Life Balance and keep the project schedule. We have raised 10k Euro for Paralympics Ireland I believe this tells everything about the work place environment and the team effort.
Company night outs, Family days, Bbq, etc.
Long hours, tight deadlines
Great experience as a lot of different aspects are associated with this company with regards to molding, pneumatic, controllers, servo motors and robotics vision systems and also hazard materials. with this company you really get an insight in all of the above.
different aspects of the line
