Kitchen Porter (Former Employee) - Dundalk, County Louth - 23 May 2018
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by Indeeda typical day at work as a kitchen porter is washing dishes and drying them, putting them away, putting the glasses in a steamer to remove stains from the glasses, making sure i washed all the dishes correctly.
I have learned how to wash dishes correctly and other new tasks.
the mangement was very friendly and nice, they made sure i settled in well in the wrok placement and made sure i was doing my job correctly and helped me with any of my problems.
The workplace culture was good, there was a number of different cultures working with me, everbody got on so well together no matter what culture they were.
The hardest part of the job washing pots because they were so heavy to lift over annd back.
The mst enjoyable part of the job was working with new people and mixing with new people becasue i love communicating with new people.
Pros
free lunches
Cons
long hours
