Not bad, for retail.
The boutiques have a relaxed, refined atmosphere that's genuinely nice to work in. Management and staff are calm, friendly, and effective. Company training was a bit pointless, and felt like it was more about the needs of management than new staff, but fun enough, and you only have to do it once. The only downside is the pay. It's only a few cents over minimum wage, and for this pittance they expect rather a lot. You'll be covering sales, tills, stock management and rotation, packing and unpacking. Most low paying jobs require far less flexibility than here, though the environment is rarely so nice.

Salary promised never happened. Mislead about bonus possibilities
Manager was very nice and great at her job. She did try to get a better hourly wage but was way off what was given. Mentioned bonuses if we met goals in total for our store location. We exceeded them but what the reality was , I was seasonal help and never entitled to bonuses. I was also told I would most likely be able to stay on past the season but everyone seasonal was let go with exception of one person. Store was very busy at times and very slow at others. After season, we were kept on for about three weeks and hours dropped to about 8 per week.
Pros
Discounts, lovely store and products
Cons
Low pay, no benefits, few hours when not holiday season

Great place to work for
Good company to get experience for in a luxury retail industry. Benefits are great, culture of workers depends on each store but overall job satisfaction is high I would say. Management is fairly flexible with how to approach shifts and they are very open to talk to regarding any issues you might have. Really easy to know your targets and the managers are very nice to explain the objectives for individuals persons and the shops themselves.
