Rewarding salary/wages but you need to commit
You need to have a strong backbone to work in Lidl as it can get stressful easily. This job will help you mature and realise your potential. The hours can be long but what you give is what you get. They can be very forgiving with needed days off or shift changes but you also need to hold up your end of the deal.

It's all down to the managers
You'll have certain managers on for the day that really care about the staff and there's great co-operation back and forth to which you're happy to work for the company and help them out tooThen there are soul sucking unqualified bullies with no leadership capabilities that are disrespectful, screaming, aggressive and morale breaking who only care about covering themselvesOnce again it's all down to the managers. You can land a spot and love it or it can end up as misery

Hate here
Bad place to work for. Would not recommend anyone to work in this company. Every manager in this company are on a ego trip. They need to listen to their staff and stop being so obnoxious. They are not the only ones in that company that are having a stressful day. They make employees work so hard in that company as if it was a concentration camp. Their staff are run off their feed running around doing picks, and I mean it can get so stressful at times. It gets so bad that the managers will keep employees in work as long as they can, just to pick the goods! Even if your are burnt out and even though you are trying to clock-out on time. They will Force you to stay behind! By threatening you that you will lose your job if you don’t stay behind and pick the last remaining goods. They just don’t care as long as you keep the paste up and pick over 5000 a day or even more. Which is a lot. Because they are on a big Commission if they get the goods out on time and get so many out on a day!

Good for experience and opportunities for promotions
A nice but fast paced workplace. Good pay and opportunities for advancement. Hardest part of the job was some unsociable hours, but would recommend overall.

A decent wage, very fast paced sometimes
Decent management but stressed too as it can be very busy at times, the busier the shop the more hours can be given to staff so there are lots of opportunities to work extra in busy shops.
