Days went by as very very very fast paced environment.not much time to chit chat..managers not understanding of staff need but overall.good leaning at junior

Very toxic work environment that begins from management

I would strongly advise to avoid unless no other opportunities are available. Wages on paper are OK but hours can and often do drop below equivalent unemployment benefit so you have to save when hrs are good. Training is non existent your basically expected to learn by yourself on the fly.Management are by far the worst I've experienced in my 40yrs highly unprofessional and create a toxic bullying environment

Hard work, needs to be available to work everywhere eg bakery, packing team , checkouts etc. Staff member has to be available to work in different hours morning or late close down time. Only person who is fast and keen quick is good for work in Lidl

Lots of extras e.g insurance pensions etc

Very long shifts up to 12 hours
