Overall great management, great culture, great coworkers, good pay. Growth opportunities. It was a busy steady days, but hey still manage to send you to training events. They have great events throughout the year as well. Great benefits and wellness program.

Good pay and benefits, but no quality of life, especially during the summer - no weekends. You don't have guarantee of your hours, if the occupancy is low, you can have less hours (this happens all the winters). It's a good job for young people and people who have a lot of energy. It requires long hours of standing, carrying weight, sometime the body can take no more. It's not a lifelong job. You have chances for internal growth (not too many), but you have to be very friendly with everyone and avoid problems.

Lots of bullies, sucks to work in a kitchen fulls of wannabes! If they find out that you’re good in your job you’ll be in trouble. They will full you down. They will laugh when you’re struggling and cry if you’re successful.

This company has great intensions, but failed in my onboarding and ever making me feel a part of the team. They take a lot, but give very little back in the form of support.

It was a great experience working with such a variety of people. The enthusiasm, friendliness and culture is great. New people are taken on with great care and fun. They make sure that new entrants feel like home.

I will always appreciate the skills I learned, however, it is a shift work job and thus can have the drawbacks associated with such work. The culture is progressive and accepting of all peoples. Work load, tasks, and challenges are pretty standard to other hotel and hospitality jobs.

Management is corrupt unethical and cruel. Very long days, ranging from 15-17 hours per day on property with no time in lieu, nor support or recognition. You will be worked to death at this property. There are two types of people that leave the Westin Bayshore, those that are completely broken or those that never return to hospitality again.

I have worked at several locations and it truly depends on who has taken over ownership of each individual location. The best overall experience I gained was through the Delta Vancouver Suites. The management team has an incredible support system developed, and creates a fun working environment.

fast-paced work, we have to flip one function to another in an and half hour sometimes. we all are signed to do different work according to the contract. Team work is the key to get the job done. We enjoyed to work together.
