Get to work at your own pace. Get to meet new people, and keep guests safe from germs and bateria in a clean environment. We had a dress code to keep.
Best place to work I would recommend this to job to everyone. The employees are the best. We dedicate ourselves on giving a 100% service to our guest. From the time you enter the front door of the hotel the doorman and bellman will ask if you need help to the time you get to your room

Days fly quickly as will task that had be made daily and there never were a grueling task.
Environment was non-hectic and understanding.
The job I held at Marriott International was very demanding in terms of physical labor. When you're a houseman, you take on many responsibilities, such as: property tours, janitorial duties, guest deliveries, security, and light maintenance. You become the person who others turn to for assistance, so you take on many different roles within the hotel. With so many responsibilities, you are bound to have many hard days at work, but your co-workers will always understand and have your back. At the end of the day, you'll know that your work was appreciated by another and that you made a difference in that person's hotel experience.
I spent almost a year at the Marriott, I started in a full-time position and later went to part time due to slow season. I learned a lot about balancing time with work and to achieve things swiftly to ensure the guests were taken care of when needed or demanded.
The best part is doing for the people. A hotel is big time customer service all around, and to makes someone’s day or experience better is everything. You deal with businessmen and women. I even drove and contributed to a weddings party happiness with our shuttle service
