Great student job
Crew Person (Former Employee) - Mullingar, County Westmeath - 17 February 2020
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedMcDonald's is a great entry level job, or part time job but I wouldn't recommend it to the more experienced worker, where manager ages can range to early 20s, where I have friends, who have their degrees completed, are in McDonalds a few years but lack the life experience for their managerial roles. It can be a very rewarding job if you work hard but the minimum wage pay can be disheartening or the lack of work effort with other employees.

Extremely stressful and unappreciated work
Crew Trainer (Current Employee) - Mullingar, County Westmeath - 18 May 2022
If you like being taken advantage of and not having your complaints listened to, then this is the workplace for you. Don't be expecting to have fun if you apply to work here

Positive work environment
Employee (Current Employee) - Mullingar, County Westmeath - 17 January 2019
a typical day in McDonald's is usually working in the kitchen doing orders. I learned how to work whit a team under stressful situations.
the management are very fair and will help you improve on work activities you are weak at. the hardest part of the job was doing the closing shifts on a Sunday and get up for collage the next day. the most enjoyable part of the job was making friends and having a bit of a laugh whit the other staff members.
Pros
free food
Cons
hard to organize time off

General Manager (Current Employee) - Mullingar - 23 June 2015
Depends on the hours you are working, like always early hours are the best, closing can be tough sometimes due to little staff on. Hardest part of the job would be dealing with extremely angry customers. Its hard having someone shouting the head of you when your trying to be as helpful as possible. Most enjoyable part is clicking out from a long day or making a mother and child smile by just being nice and helpful.
Pros
work life balance
Cons
clicks from higher management
