The management need work and they need to deal with disciplining people who are constantly in arguments with other staff and customers and not make them manager Instead

No Access to HR

Been working a few weeks at Macdonalds Naas, my payslip did not format correctly and I could not view it. When asking the manager, they said they will email HR. That was a Thursday. Come Monday, All they can do is send another email. The store managers just shrug their shoulders and say- I’ll send an email. That’s not good enough.

Poor Management

Management expect staff to work under pressure while not rewarding the work and punishing the employees for childish reasons. Disconnect between staff and management due to this reason. Poorly paid and treated like children

Fun place to work but poor management

Hard working o your feet all day with little to no appreciation. Clear divide between some managers and crew members. Procedures ignored my managers but also used against crew members when it suits. However always got breaks, always got paid and if there were any issues the store managers were always willing to help. The younger managers were the problem. Not much room to move up unless your're well liked

The best job I ever had

When we opened our store, no one really had any idea what we were doing. In building the store together from the ground, we became the closest team I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. I am still looking for something that will come close to the fantastic time I had working here. It can be a very challenging job, and it is not always easy dealing with people, but I found it incredibly rewarding.

Fun and Helpful Workplace

In a typical day, I would be on service. However, I was also a lobby hostess and therefore would also work on the lobby and front of house. Sometimes, I was also in kitchen. There was a lot of job diversity and from that I learnt a variety of new skills such as customer interaction, cashier skills, cleaning and stocking, and food cooking and preparation. The hardest part of my job was probably keeping a respectful and polite manner when a customer was being rude to me. It was hard to not seem upset or angry but by the end I think I became pretty good at it. The most enjoyable part of my job was interacting with the broad variety of customers I encountered in every shift. I really enjoyed getting to know them all.
