Terrible franchise management

Co-workers keep this job enjoyable, and management at the store try their hardest for the staff, this is completely undermined by the franchise management that oversees the store and has led to overworked managers, a constant revolving door of staff and a constant issue of inexperienced staff, without the staff to train these new staff. This business model is unsustainable and constantly leads to managers and other important staff constantly leaving, little regard shown to the needs of staffs happiness and any attempt by store staff to raise morale is shot down by branch management in the name of “policy”, which makes staff even more demoralised and unenthusiastic about the job. The only appreciation that is given is given by store staff who are left to try keep their own and each other’s morale up in an attempt to make good of working in such a fast pace yet low reward environment. Only reason this job even deserves a four star is because co-workers, store management and some customers at least make the job worth coming into every day and it’s an effort that may not be appreciated by corporate but most certainly is by staff. In overall personal experience a good place to work, however branch management really needs an overhaul in management style to even consider retaining staff!
