I have been with Mothercare 15 years and the pressure you are under gets harder. Each shift you are expected to get a personal shop, Finance for customers and 70% email addresses from customers, if you do not meet these targets you are disciplined. Let alone serve 3 customers while working delivery and merchandising all at the same time. Really not worth the minimum wage that you earn. You are expected to be available when they want you to be sometimes at short notice. No sick pay. No real training is given, its more learn as you go. Colleagues are a great team.
