I had very little to do while I was there. The manager I reported to was the most did-organised person I had ever worked for. It was a temporary contract role and I could have been used much better if she'd been prepared and more organised.
The best thing that came out of my experience working for Mylan was meeting good people and the creation of new friendships, the rate of pay is quite good and the benefits were too; however that's where the buck stops. The cons were many unfortunately which lead to my departure from the company, the UPPER management need to organize the production area better this poor organization leads to a number of problems within the production area; which in turn leads to a stressful environment ect. One another problem I noticed was the workloads were not assessed and employees were overburdened with excessive work loads. Just to note that middle management are great and were easy to talk too and the problems came from top down.
Good Pay and Benefits, Meeting new friends
Poor Upper management, Organization
Not friendly, pressure, stressful, no good for health, not worth it that money. You are running whole day packaging heavy bags and dill with managers friendly only for Irish if You foreign You are in troubles.
bad working culture, managemnt, canteen, working hours, health working with powder
very stressful environment, not following SOP, cGMP and GDP at all times only when people watching you as most of the management turns a blind eye and hide stuff from higher hierarchy. Most of supervisors have no training in their jobs (some have no basics knowledge of how to use the daily basic in a PC and related software like raise a non-conformance) basically they worked as operators for few years then got supervisors as here in Mylan Inverin all people are family related so they protect their own interests. They take advantage of you if they see you are willing to do your job, they always give you more then others and you get told "we have to help each other and work together " so their family do less or nothing. Also the training its as close to zero as it gets, mostly u will get trained by other operators and you kinda have to self-train yourselves nobody gives a dam once u past 6 months probation :)) so if you the kinda person that has no experience in a pharma or medical device environment I say you be grand as many will not more then u in there. But if you have had the opportunity to work in such environment I wouldn't recommend Mylan as even tho suppose to be a highy regulated environment its only on papers, it will be a step back from everything you've learned about following cGMP, GDP, SOP or PRWI`s. It`s a place where ignorance and old mentality like "we always did it like that and nothing happened yet" trills in this environment.
Been working at Mylan for 13 years have to say it’s a great Company and treats all staff to the highest standards, from communicating, assistants, Meetings for updates on what’s going on, and most importantly training all staff to the highest level of knowledge in pharmaceutical, Health and Safety, GMP training, SOP knowledge, End Of Day Procedures. I’ve learnt a lot at this Company...
Good people working there very professional strong on procedures due to been a pharmaceutical company only negative not much production due to business not busy on the plus side I can see that changing due to medical care demand in the future lots of compassity to grow for the factory
The days are manic, plan changes hourly, Poor communication skills. Management have no regard for staff, use them and loose them policy. Good place to get experience, then get out. The people are great but undervalued by management. They have a we dont need you attitude and do try to do anything to retain staff. Very high staff turn over. Expected to be available 24/7
Too many management but no one helping anyone. No training and no communication..some management terrible. Management need to set up training plans. Management are just not nice. Learn alot but don't work there management don't manage.
Bad management no support no training
Extremely poor place to work. Too much paperwork and management don't listen to the operators who know their job. Wages poor compared to other companies and when raised with hr told it's what your jobs worth. The hr department does nothing for the employee totally company biased. Am sure other mylan plants are much better but this one is poor.
Good people in production
Management HR wages quality of life quantity over quality
Excellent place to work and learn under the experience & encouraging management. Intense training and full guidance for new entrants, colleagues are highly supportive and create positive working environment.
appreciation, excellent remuneration, career progression

Mylan is a great company to work for, the work load is heavy but salaries reflect that. Opportunities to advance are available for most. Change is something that happens constantly so be prepared to move and have responsibilities changed quiet a lot.
