Very stressful work but can be fun at times.
Deputy Manager Nando's (Former Employee) - Dublin, County Dublin - 12 November 2022
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedThis company was very good up until Covid/Brexit. After that they completely lost their ways and their new mentality is “just get on with it”. They say everybody is accepted all culture welcome but in reality that’s only apply if you are go out of your way to be “friendly” with upper management. You are not rated for the work you do. If you lucky and have a good general manager you could have a better work life but there are way too many bullies in this position to now days and they do absolutely nothing about them doesn’t matter how many complaints they received from staff members. If you friend with upper management you are protected. If you Eastern European you will struggle as they don’t like honesty they want you to sugarcoat everything you say. The company not growing in Ireland they always talk about opportunities in new stores but they just never happen. Salary is unfair for both assistant managers and supervisors so as the BOH staff members……

Great company, bad work environment
Back of house (Former Employee) - Dublin - 20 April 2021
The company was great to work for. The lunches, benefits, time off etc. Were great. The issue was the environment within the restaurant. Full of clique's, mean people who like to pick on new staff and the management is very prone to favouritism. It was emotionally exhausting going to work every day knowing some of my colleagues wouldn't treat me with respect. There was a real problem of older staff constantly making misogynistic or condescending jokes. I recommend working for the company but not this particular restaurant.
Pros
Free food, work-life balance, roster in advance, pay
Cons
Bad work atmosphere

Nandos is an amazing environment to work in, the training you get is second to none, the company is very involved in the community ie feeding the homeless , local produce etc staff turn over is minimal , extremely competitive starting pay rate that usually goes up at least once per financial year. Not to mention they are still currently paying staff through the pandemic .. many restaurants closed 90% of the year. All in all amazing workplace .. a second family that has great values.

Great pay, free lunch, discounts when eating with family, discount card for local shops, they are highly involved in the community

Decent Place to Work For
Floor Staff/ Kitchen Staff (Former Employee) - Liffey Valley Centre, County Dublin - 28 April 2018
Nandos was my first job as a floor staff and I worked there for two years. It is a very interesting place to work for and you do learn a lot.
I worked in liffey valley and it can get very busy at times. You might need a car as sometimes it is hard to get home because you will not be able to make the bus.
You get for free when you are working and breaks are paid for. Management can be very bad at times but they always pay you on time.
Full time is usually between 30-35 hours.
I would recommend this company to work for if you are a student, the job can get a little annoying sometimes but I always just did my thing before I went home.
Pros
Free Lunch Allowance, Good Pay, Paid Breaks, Tips (not the best) Holidays and Free uniform
Cons
Long hours horrible breaks (work 8 hours only get 30 minutes) Annoying Repetitive job

Aprendir a conhecer a me mesmo,,quanto pessoa e profissional.
Um dia tipico de trabalho no nandos e simplismente divertido, voce nao ver as horas passar a interacao equipe e clientes e faz com que o seu periodo de trabalho seja agradavel e produtivo.
Pros
Sao varios
Cons
Nao tem
