I learned im a good seller, the company is fun because many people from different parts of the world but it’s very unsafe as they have fired 30 people before contract ends out of the blue, people that trusted the company to move from their country , no compensation was offered
Well, their business itself is not very competitive and very low value adding, which means they don’t really have extra resources to spend on employee well beings etc. Outdated, not well organised management style doesn’t help either. I can never recommend this work place to anyone I care for.
Easy to get in. That’s it.
So many. If you are serious about any sort of career development, you wouldn’t want to work here.
Be prepared to be moved from one job to another where a learning curve will present itself, there is some trial and error training, expect that and try not to fear it too much. Though you may have made a group of friends in your earlier post, you might still see them again at a later date. Keep your head down, push as hard as you can, don't call in sick if you can help it at all. Working nights is doable but you do feel an effect. If you are working in a team and your co-worker either can't or won't do their share of the duties, leaving your numbers short just battle on regardless, there is generally nothing you can do to change the situation.
companionship, decent salary, diverse characters and cultures.
Shift start : Receive work sheets for categorised work. Make sure all necessary materials needed for tasks are available and easily accessible. Fulfil orders and add to production line as complete. Goals are set out before start at what reached goals for day and line is. Area must be accessible and clean at all times. Problems with order are passed on to Line supervisor and escalated as needed. While assembling your order quality control spot checks Management is very responsive and involve you as a person The workplace is relaxed but competitive between workers. Easily approachable and management.
Atmosphere and work ethic.
National Pen offered a great and in-depth two week training program. Reaching targets was never too difficult and I had a lot of support from the management. Commission was also a huge bonus. Time management was crucial as most sales are made through building customer relationships via email, so at times the role was stressful due to having to hit 'call' targets.
Management who has no clue and just beats up on the call centre staff. Good for students that want to work for 3 or 4 months. Advancement depends on whether you are with the in crowd. Don't ask too many questions or you are on their bad side. As a caller you are just a pawn and a number. Otherwise stay well clear.
Great place for work! Really enjoyed my time over there as a Production Operative. Great working hours and working atmosphere, excellent pay for overtimes! Working on your own phase as fast as you can, make sure your orders are matching the product, they are correct and accurate. Attention to detail very important! Some management issues, but overall great!
