About us
Nourish are an independently owned Irish group of health & beauty stores based in Dublin, selling everything from organic and diet-specific foods to ethically produced skin care and traditional herbal remedies.
Originally called the General Health Food Store, Nourish was founded by Derek Kelly in 1986, and started life as a humble wholefoods shop – more... on Marlborough Street in Dublin. We began by selling whole foods to a small but loyal group of customers, and then expanded slowly but steadily over the years. In 2004, we changed our name from The General Health Food Store to ‘Nourish’, and opened a new shop and HQ on Wicklow Street.
Derek has since been joined in the business by his children Odhran, Sarah, and Colum, and there are now seven Nourish stores across Dublin as well as our online shop. Our staff get regular training about the benefits and properties of our products, and are always happy to offer their knowledge and advice.
Our goal is (and always has been) to provide customers with everything they need to live a healthy, natural lifestyle based on an ethical approach to our planet and everyone and everything that lives on it. Friendly and fun work place
As the one of the busy stores there is plenty to do with friendly co-workers and great managers. The focus is on customer happiness and making sure the customer gets the proper product for them.
