Nice company to work for. They have a great ethos in relation to care for people with Mental health ID issues. There is a great management system with plenty of support and there is huge potential for advancement within the company.
Typical day in work is good, good staff teams and service users to work with. It's the people in the office though that treat you awful, my contract meant nothing as it was cut out of the blue. Don't expect to get paid on time either. Simply put, great houses to work in, but horrible company to work for
Nice people, some days can be handy
Not getting paid on time, contract not being honoured, talked down to by office staff, might not get a break in a shift if you don't smoke, only received one supervision in eight months
From previous experience with this companies HR Dept. I would advise extreme caution when applying for a job, certain of their HR generalists will make promises that are unrealistic or untrue, but in any event will not happen. If you do get employment with this company you will find the hours long and pay not so great so don’t say you were not warned

work involved in this post included listening to clients and meeting their requests, managing the salon. I learned that active listening skills were greatly required. Management and co-workers worked well together and made the environment very positive and fun. The hardest part of the job was working under a great deal of pressure during days of back to back appointment. The most enjoyable was meeting so many friendly faces and getting to know so many people.
Fun and positive environment
Nua Healthcare is a very good company to work for, the put the needs of all there service users first, it is a great place for team work, communication skills and integrating service users out into the community giving them employment opportunities.
Flexible with working hours
Long Hours at times
Great team to work with, Good training provided Great learning experience the most enjoyable part of working for this company was making a difference to the clients lives and seeing them improve their life skills. The hardest part of this job was the lack of continuity from management and HR, with regards to changes in shifts, pay related issues.
A great team of staff on the ground
