Sales Representatives send bulk orders in on merchandisers to work on the days that the SR is off. The merchandisers don't last long because they are paid the least and carry the majority of the responsibility for cleanliness and stocking.

Pros

Independence

Cons

unequal work loads

No work life balance and no air conditioning

Work 6 days a week. All year. It’s very hot in the plant. No a/c. It’s no moral there. You don’t feel appreciate. It’s ok as a stepping stone but don’t see me being there long term.

Pros

Pay is pretty good

Cons

No work life balance and it’s very hot inside plant and no Moral

Not a good place to be

Management is a joke. The schedule is bad no work life balance. The environment is brutal with heat index over 100 degrees. You will feel sick and suffer heat related conditions. Turnover and attendance is horrendous. You will be expected to work so many hours. The humidity and heat will make you crazy. Stay away from this place. It’s the worst place I ever worked!!!

Pros

Good pay

Cons

Too hot and humid. No work life balance. Bad coworkers and terrible management.

PepsiCo could be better.

Pepsi has great benefits in place and awesome compensation rates. But the supervisors are college educated guys who mostly guys whom have never driven a commercial vehicle is a major city like Atlanta. Coupled with really bad equipment and route management. They attempt to make drivers deliver 9 to 10 loads a day while, requiring the same driver to work and put up the products at stores like QuickTrip and RaceTrack who orders between 120 to 200 cases a delivery. An average guy understands that it takes 20 to 40 minutes to drive to each location but the routers and driver managers think you should not just drive to the locations within a 10 hour day; but they also feel that you should be able to put 120 to 200 case on the shelf or in a storage room while making the delivery within 10 hours.

Pros

Great PAY and BENEFITS.

Cons

Bad management and Disrespectful supervisors!

Diverse and Cooperative place to work

Job duties weren't hard at all. Definitely will get wide understanding of supply chain and working with high end customers such as Walmart + Publix. The pay is not competitive at all. Management is very understanding and encouraging but can also stunt your growth if they believe you're an asset in a certain position as they'll want to keep you there.

Pros

Employee Appreciation Week, Free Snacks + Beverages

Less people doing more

Company cuts people every year and just pushes more work on the people that are left. They have a good ole boy network so if you want to move up you better know somebody. It’s just not rewarding work.

Pros

None

Cons

Company cuts and low pay

Unorganized

The communication around there is horrible. No one knows what the next person is doing. Management does not communicate with anyone. They have major projects that they keep pushing back because they don't want the plant down or they don't want the plant to do better. It's a mess show to say the least.

Pros

None

Cons

No one knowes anything!

Fun work environment

The job was ok. A typical work day was 10-11 a day and servicing 12-15 accounts a day as well. You work alone with very little supervision. I meet some great people on the route

Pros

Pay and benefits

Cons

Long days

Company is horrible to work for

Worst company ever here in Georgia Management doesn’t know what are they are doing , they play buddy buddy with some employees even go out for drink , truck are not assigned to drivers so you have to use a different truck everyday . Every day you have to see if you have the equipment to work on your route ( pallet jacks sled etc) of course trucks are not ready with equipment. They Waranty you a salary but to achieve that salary you have to work 14 hours + day at the end they can keep there drinks and learn how to treat people ...

Pros

Medical insurance

Cons

All of it

The company is great the location needs some a redo

GREAT COMPANY, EACH LOCATION RENDERS A DIFFERENT RESULT. The thing I do not like is they give more opportunity to college hires than employees already working with the company.

Pros

Great opportunity to grow

Cons

Passive management, Intimidated easily. No delegation and a lot of policies broken, No safety or first responders team

You'll receive ample training for your position.

I learned a lot through SAP implementation. The most enjoyable period was learning and training MRP process to other planners. There is a family vibe to support and uplift each other.

Worklife Balance

PepsiCo believed in a Worklife Balance. They were flexible with working remote and being into the office. As long as the job was getting done then there were no issues.
