Health-care is expensive and job work/ life balance sucks. On any given weekend you can get forced in for overtime on a Saturday or on your scheduled day off making harder to keep appointments or handle any other personal business.

Pros

Pay

Cons

Healthcare expensive

Terrible place to work

Management is out for themselves and run union employees into the ground n grave. They work you 84hrs a week and throw you under the bus every chance they can to take focus off themselves.

This place is not a somewhere to work when you have a family to support. For the amount of work they should pay morw

This is good job for someone who don't have kids and single and just want to do anything for money. Short breaks and ton load of work is required for this job. Be prepared to be blamed for anything that goes wrong.

Pros

Cons

Management, workload, short breaks

repetitive days with difficulty to move up from the bottom level

vacation is based on seniority, so you have to choose weeks based on how long you've been with the company. you get to build relationships with your assigned stores. management is hit or miss - they'll either drop everything to come help you or they leave you out to dry on your own. very tough to move up from being a merchandiser, the next step is a management "nomination" process, but there's not always management positions open.

Pros

benefits, better pay than competition, mileage reimbursement

Cons

horrible vacation structure, management leaves you high and dry sometimes

Good experience for a limited time

As an intern, it was nice to work somewhere where you were entrusted to do actual work and contribute. However, the position was often shifting and there was clearly no vision for what I was supposed to do.

Pros

Good pay, busy days

Cons

Irregular job responsibilities

Pay is the only good thing

Nothing good to say other than the people who work there became family because we did 12hr shifts 6-7 days a week. Long hours no time for family unless u made fine.

Unrealistic expectations

This is a very good company in the aspect of job security and pay but believe me when I say you’re going to slave for the money! Work life balance is non existent with this job. It’s very hard to want to pick up extra hours because you’re tired from working you’re regular 44-52 hours a week.

Pros

Good pay, benefits

Cons

Hours

Hostile and full of disrespect

There is no respect within management and employees. The higher ups just stay in their offices all day while the supervisors have to deal with frontline workers who complain and don’t listen, I was so fed up with the craziness in this place. I can not believe how this is tolerated everyday. They claim to want safety but constantly push unrealistic metrics that would require a lot of safety procedures “in place”

Pros

Job security, free water, drink truck, really good company to have on your resume.

Cons

No accountability towards managers, favoritism, feels like a dictatorship

PepsiCo is a great company to work for! I have been working for them for five years. Overall it has been a great experience. Benefits are great and salary is fine as well. Senior leaders within are treating people fairly. I will highly recommend anyone to work for such company.

Terrible process overall

Worked for them less than a month. Never had clear insight on anything related to me as a Pepsi emloyee. Managers are terrible. Union employees complain too much. 70 hours mandatory each week. No days off. Not worth $20 an hour.

Money is decent! That’s it!!

there Is absolutely no home and work balance do you work five days a week most likely being forced an extra four hours each one of them days you will also be forced on your one day off up to 12 hours! Personal time can be denied and is often done so! The place refuses to qualify for people to prevent wearing others out!

Pros

Money !

Cons

Work all the time!!

Keep looking!

Do yourself a favor and keep looking! Mechanics scheduled 7 days a week, an hour before your shift ends they’ll tell you they need you to stay over, mandatory OT for a minimum of 4 hours with no notice and no regard for anything other obligations union dues, city wage tax $500 a month for medical it’s a hokeorregard

Okay job

It's a good company to work for a lot of growing space to move up in the company. Management team varies, some care about the employees and some only care about their job and will backstab anyone to keep their job. They aren't out in trade so all they care about is what they need to be done they don't care if it takes 15hours or if you worked your tail off they just want what they need to be done while they sit in their chairs all day. A typical day at work you'll work 10-12 hours a day sometimes more and in the summer 6-7 days a week. There isn't really a work culture because nobody is at the building but managers and warehouse workers. Mostly all positions at Pepsi require you to be on the road servicing stores.

Pros

money

Cons

management and some of the rules

Not a bad place to work

Plan on being in the same role for a while if you don’t know anyone in the higher ranks that will push for you to get promoted. The compensation is great but you don’t really have a work life balance

No growth within the company

A very political base work place to get ahead!

This specific location during my time on the leadership team member proved to be a workplace culture that was a very toxic and/or politically, "just say yes" to your leader environment just to survive and maybe,...get ahead.

Pros

Great brand name company.

Cons

Poor senior leadership culture!
