Internal firm resources for learning and development are second to none. Experts are a phone call away. It's a ton of work, but intellectually stimulating.
You'll work your tail off
12-16 hour days, lack of communication/direction from management which lead to no understanding of overall goals/direction of the team or vertical.
remote work is great
extremely demanding and no worklife balance, way to many social justice warriors
I got audit jobs on variety of industries, sizes, sections and supervisors. You won’t get bored there. Intensive former Training started before busy season. Fieldworker feedback was ongoing. Two way assessments past busy season is an unique culture: direct supervisors and their trainees gave feedback to each other which was applied to all levels from associates to partners. People get smarter on both communication and technical skills through such process. Asto the hours and loads, It helps to improve. No more no less than a regular cpa form.
Professionalisms and diversity
Could be intense with long hours.
Horrible workplace, very homogeneous, little diversity of person and thought! Employees wear their hours worked as a badge of honor. No respect for a work-life balance. People tell you what you want to hear, and talk behind your back.

Is Indeed your favorite place to learn about companies?
A great company to start. Hard work will maintain your job but not keep it. Maintaining constant communication with managers is important to be placed on projects that deliver the most return for the company. Nice workplace culture with friendly staff. Training is lacking and needs investment
The firm is amazing with vision and strategy. But since your team is the one you see everyday, that is what will make or break you. If your partner and superiors do follow leaderships' visions, you are good. If they want to create a slave-like culture, they will. It's a great school and you travel the world many times over. Just evaluate your personal priorities and then decide if career is your top priority in life, then you'll be most welcome!
PwC provides a great mix of offering a professional, yet welcoming work environment at the same time. The firm prides itself on making sure their employees feel welcomed at all times. While performing the duties of their job, employees are given the chance to build lasting relationships with clients and coworkers. The firm also provides opportunities to develop yourself as professional in a number of different ways. The firm makes it enjoyable to work there by implementing a great company culture, starting with management that encourages their employees to do their best and make them feel welcome everyday.
It looks so great from the outside. And when you step in, there is a multitude of awesome benefits. But that’s it. The people? You guessed it. They know how to demoralize, overwork, micromanage and after all that, break your “brand” (read-reputation) because you finally had enough. Now normally, most organizations are cutthroat and accept it. Not here. Get in. Work hard. Get the big 4 seal on your resume and get out before you are destroyed.
Truly, incredible experience can be attained at PwC and it is a wonderful place to start a career. The difficulty, particularly in the Salt Lake Area, is the lack of work/life balance. The culture is great and the learning curve is constantly engaging.
Accounting is overall a stressful job but PWC made it fun! They teach interns everything they need to know to be successful in their career. The teams work together to make sure that everyone advances and moves up in the company. There is often free food and occasional free happy hour events. Coffee machine in every floor is a plus!
long working hours
