Overall good place to start a career as you enter the workforce. You get a lot of exposure in a very short amount of time. You also get to work with a lot of very intelligent individuals.

Great place to start a career, but hard to justify staying after a couple years due to low compensation and opportunities elsewhere. Most will work here for a couple years for the breadth of experience provided and make senior or manager promotion, then leave for greener pastures.

Great salary and flexibility, but high-stress job, especially during busy season. Summers are great in terms of low-stress, and if not assigned on a job, you can potentially have days/weeks off with pay.

People are squeezed like lemons and then throw away, if you really want to work in a Big 4 and deal with the terrible work/life balance typical of the industry, consider joining one of the other 3, as at very least they respect (slightly) people more.

Horrible workplace, very homogeneous, little diversity of person and thought! Employees wear their hours worked as a badge of honor. No respect for a work-life balance. People tell you what you want to hear, and talk behind your back.

Filling customers forms, validating their accounts for payments and also managing the office. Working with less supervision and making sure everything is in it place as and when it is required of me.

Benefits are a big perk of this job. Job security is pretty good as well. For me, its the nature of the work that is killer. Great company to work for though.

Empresa com grande oportunidade de adquirir conhecimento e de realizar networking. Além disso, tive o prazer de auditar empresas gaúchas e multinacionais com diferentes culturas organizacionais e colaboradores.

Management is very good at auditing, but they are terrible at the only thing they are supposed to do – managing people. You will be given 40 hours to finish 100 hour assignments with half the people needed, and if you can’t do it, they will blame you for not being „efficient” enough. Nobody is going to appreciate you for your hard work. People have their pay raises and bonuses cut, their overtime pay rejected (meaning you will work overtime, but not get paid for it), because management is incapable of evaluating how much time it takes to complete certain tasks, especially when problems arise.
You will be overworked and underpaid, and fed by the lie that it’s all worth it because you learn so much. The truth is, if you want to learn about auditing, this is not the place to do it. If you only care about money, other Big4 companies pay better. You won’t be treated better at any of them though.

The managers and partners do their best to make auditing more and more difficult, finding new ways to increase the workload without giving more time to actually complete the tasks. The directors keep bringing in new business without evaluating if there are any people left to actually do the work.

Some seniors and managers look down on newcomers, expecting them to know everything without teaching them anything. If they disagree and speak up against their malpractices, they will be treated unfairly. It’s a toxic environment. Sorry I had to write this but if you are planning of working there you deserve to know what you’re signing up for.

If you’re thinking about working here, be prepared that people are replaceable and they have no value for this company. Making a profit will always be top priority for them, no matter the cost. There is a reason why 90% of people leave within 1-2 years. This is a very abusive environment where people are constantly being called stupid and useless, despite working all day, even is their free time, on weekends and holidays as well, and are constantly harassed by bad management. They say the classic lines of „no one has a gun to their head, they don’t have to work overtime”, but if they don’t, they get bad reviews and they put their livelihoods at stake. I’ve seen the smartest, most talented people I’ve ever met ruined by these people. This company is a perfect example of how corporate short-term thinking can run things into the ground.

I started my career in IT Audit at PwC and I was able to learn tremendously and progress my career. The hardest part of the work is the tight deadlines while the most enjoyable part of the work is the collaborative nature and amazing people. The culture and work ethic is also inspiring

During busy season (October-April) there are no holidays or time off. Clients are booked one after the other, so there is no time to sit back and relax. THe tools provided by the company do make the life easier, especially if it is an existing client. After April, everything relaxed and there is plenty of time to focus on personal development.

It is exactly what you expect as an entry level auditing job after college. A lot of copy and pasting and hoping another level up knows what you did because no one is teaching you the why behind it.

My favorite aspects of PwC are the firm's energetic culture, numerous diverse opportunities for learning/growth and increased flexibility of work location and hours. The seasonality of the nature of the audit field is obviously challenging (multiple months of 70-80+ hour weeks in "busy season") but the firm has spent significant effort improving the phasing of our annual workflow to mitigate this somewhat. Overall, I have been very satisfied at PwC for the eleven years of my career and would recommend the company to others.

The bad thing about it is the exit time because no one knows when you will finish but is easy to handle whit this and the best is the work culture and the support of the leaders

The management is old fashioned, adding clientele to the portofolio without looking at the numbers of employees. It's all about quantity not quality.
High turnover rate and many people with no accounting background. There is usually a lot of gossiping within the teams.

I don't recommend
