Great people, great work mostly, and excellent support. Need to remember that it is a business driven by revenues. Long-term, one needs to align what they do with how the firm makes money.

A lot of emphasis is given in values of firm and how can we deliver best quality to the clients.
Workforce is full with young employees and has lot of energy.

Its a fun place where people are very collaborative and supportive of each other's growth.

Lot of learning and development opportunities are available for employees to upskill themselves.

Overall very good company to work for with smart people, great clients, solid pay and benefits. The part of the organization where I was employed did not live up to the top tier reputation PwC enjoys in other parts of their business. It was a sales oriented role and managers actually attached themselves to deals they did not work. While flexible and competitive, the culture of my group was ineffective at retaining good people. Since I left, there had been reorganization within this part of the organization.
Pros
Smart people, great clients, solid pay and benefits, flexibility, well respected in the market
Cons
Clickish leadership, lack of team culture

as with all large organisations there is a hierarchy and a set of behaviours required to succeed here, but if you do it is a great place to work and develop your career

Good company to work at but even with year on year profits it will reduce employee headcount when chips are down even for a small period./............

A typical day is mostly spent on solving clients' critical issues and working with the team.
An inclusive culture is very important where people are rewarded based on the merit.

The hardest part of the job is traveling however that's the nature of the beast.

Enjoyable part of the job is also traveling and getting to meet people from all over the world.

Consulting environment and all that entails regarding work/life balance. Fantastic people. Bit old fashioned (like most big firms) but investing a lot in change.

Breaking news, it's a big business! Lot's of positive and fewer negative experiences for me.....a lot driven by the individual you work for. I was fortunate enough to be invested in by the firm in terms of my personal development on numerous occasions and worked internationally with some great people. The annual appraisal process is far too cumbersome and often results in outcomes for individuals that are demotivating. There was an undercurrent that it was all about the seniority of those representing you in the process rather than the achievements that counted more.

It was overall great experience working at PwC. Too much travel and some absurd clients are the ones that challenge life at PwC. Good compensation and networking atmosphere.
Pros

A lot of politics and advancement is very politically charged at the higher levels. The leadership is overloaded and is not well organized in some towers.
Pros
Nice people
Cons
Long hours, no real leadership, direction is not clear.

PwC is similar to the other Big 4 Firms with very long hours, tons of metrics and intense competition between very smart people. The most difficult aspect of the job was the abundance of metrics (more than 22).

Best advice I can give is to learn from your experience, use the organization to grow your network and keep your options open. Junior staff will see a lot of hours demanded from them - it's best to see this as more opportunities to learn and grow.

PwC is a great place to work. The team that I work with is fantastic; however, the hours are long. Finding work life balance is a challenge. This is mostly self imposed but we seem to reward the competent with extra work.

Should you explore working at Pwc make sure you take the time to get to know your manager, colleagues and potential projects.
Pros
Great team
Cons
Long hours
