Here are 5 steps we’re taking immediately:

1. Our CEO will be personally matching all employee donations made in the next three months to Black Lives Matter, the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, and several other organizations. He will kick off the giving with a $100,000 personal donation.

2. Holding mandatory anti-racism training for all employees within the next quarter.

3. We have already begun unconscious bias training at Qualtrics and will roll it out globally to all employees.

4. Enhancing our current internship program and recruitment practices by forming partnerships with historically black colleges and universities, Diversity & Inclusion Offices, and sponsoring events such as AfroTech.

5. Working with state and local governments to create an XM Solution that can be used to understand and close experience gaps between law enforcement and the communities in which they work.

"I have two loves: numbers and being able to make an impact. Those things drove me to study statistics in college and eventually, to work at Qualtrics. My decision to join the team is confirmed on a daily basis when I see our clients conduct surveys that enable them to make a difference for their brand, their students, and their customers. I’ve learned that Qualtrics truly is a company that cares about the difference they make in the world."⁠

We are always interested in what it was about @Qualtrics that caught the eyes of our team. Claire told us, "I first used Qualtrics in college for our own 360 evaluations. Hearing feedback both on strengths and blind spots was illuminating and a booster for my performance. We also used Qualtrics Website and App Feedback when I was working at Microsoft to help run our own customer preview programs. So I was even able to see the versatility and power of the platform then. So, when I started looking for a new job, I was really sold on the grand XM vision of Qualtrics, especially having used it previously. The company culture here was another factor in cementing my decision."⁠

"For me, it’s still Qualtrics for me for two reasons. Reason number one: the company culture. The small company mentality is still evident, even though we have scaled massively in the last few years. We’re still all in as one team, and scrappy is our middle name!⁠

The second reason is the amount of impact I can make so early on in my career. The EMEA office is growing like crazy, which means that our processes don’t always grow as quickly. The opportunity to make a change and a lasting impact on these processes and the way we do things is one that I don’t think I’d get anywhere else. It really gets me motivated to know that I can build my brand and accomplish great things even though I am still quite junior!"⁠

"I live for the thrill of 'solving the problem.' "Hearing from our candidates about the positive experience they went through in our hiring process. Since I'm in contact with just about every candidate that applies to our APJ area roles, I get to see their journey from start to finish and then meet them in the office!"⁠
