Not appreciated, thankless and unrewarding

From the ground up are dishonest. You couldn't trust them the length of you're arm. When something goes wrong team leaders lie through their teeth to drop you in it so to save their own skin. You're promised the sun, moon and stars but it's all lies. For 3 years I was employed by a recruitment agency and not directly. There is a large turn over of staff because of this. Very difficult to become directly employed. To get a contract you must be in the "click" or have family already working directly. This is also the same when trying to get promotion. The staff in this "click" get away with being lazy and are made look like heros while the hard workers never get noticed. There is no proper system when it comes to training. Staff waiting over a year to get trained on something such as headsets while other staff only working there 6 months and get this training. In the 3 years I worked there you wouldn't believe what I saw. Work place injuries due to disorganization and staff not receiving correct training. Staff getting away with arriving for work out of it. Supervisors leaving agency staff in charge so they can finish work early to go to the pub.......The uniform and protective gear is of the cheapest quality and not suitable for out door work. It doesn't last for long and needs replacing. To get anything replaced such as boots you're requesting it for weeks. It's a job where if you show an interest and want to learn new things it will get you no where. But if you coast through you're shifts showing zero interest you'll be loved and get up the ladder......During my time -

Horrible job

Management is awful, take a while to get to know people, you can’t understand any of you’re colleagues as they talk about you in a different language. Pay is awful don’t know how people survive there! They trap those who are foreign by paying their visas over but if they try to leave they have to pay it all back which they can’t do due to the low pay

Pros

Discounted flights and duty free

Cons

Very long hours without the pay

Didn’t work here long

Literally did about 6 flights. Never felt stress like it. If I had stuck it out maybe I would’ve learnt and enjoyed it but I didn’t think it was worth it. As well as not getting paid for delays (ever flight I flew has a delay)

Pros

People are nice

Cons

So so much

Practicas extrañas

Se nos obliga a realizar prácticas que no van con mis valores y me parecen abusivas.

Pros

tengo un trabajo

Cons

Se roza demasiado la fina linea de la ilegalidad

Absolutely terrible place to work.

I was based in BHX (Birmingham) from the start of the training it’s stressful, the instructor don’t support you! You’re not gonna be based where you expect and applied for you get the opposite so be prepared to move.Make sure your never ill as they don’t like that say your not suitable for the job, and get rid of you before your probation ends 2 days before. These better airlines out there. So go for something else. Don’t waste your time on these also the pay is terrible for what you do and have to deal with, however all the crew in Birmingham are lovely and amazing!

Negativa

No se lo recomiendo a nadie, que opten por cualquier otra compañía si lo que quieren es ser tripulantes de cabina.

Hard work fast paced

Ok tongue as a stepping stone for better airlines but very old school and live in the dark ages. Not a difficult job but quite stressful. Isn't the glitz and glam you want as don't see any new places when travelling. A good way to get tin the aviation but other than that its a jig standard job

Horrendous place to work. Where do I even start

Long hours, very little pay. No food, only 4 bottles of water for over 12 hours work. They are sneaky when assigning shifts. They will put you on ones that mean you have the minimum amount of legal rest. They will take 2 hours to answer the phone when you need to get a hold of them but will phone you 4 times and demand to know where you are if you don't pick up the phone the first time. They will leave you on hold for 2 hours when you try to phone in sick, then have the audacity to phone hours later asking where you are and then assign you a no show. They will send you off to operate in other bases with no prior notice and without asking and no regard as to whether you have kids or someone who is dependent on you. Crew control and the base managers are unsupportive and unhelpful. You are a number to them. Just a robot. Crew control are unbelievably rude, they think you control the universe. Didn't make it to work on time even tho you set off 2 hours early? Should have set off 3 hours early. Live within an hour of the airport but take longer to get there? Move closer then. Their attitude is terrible. They have no respect for your free time, no respect for your health or well being. Don't work here even if you're about to go homeless. It's not worth it. Save your sanity.

Pros

No pros. Whatsoever.

Cons

Long hours, no respect, little pay, little food, rude superiors

Low pay, strict rules, poor management

Worst airline I’ve ever trained for. 2.50 an hour for training over six weeks. Long days, and the trainers will get rid of you over the littlest of things. Most people that I’ve trained with left after a while or didn’t make the training because it was super strict. There was no help towards these exams. It was tough, but ridiculously tough, and we all suffered mentally because of it. I wouldn’t recommend working for this company. Low pay, long hours, and the staff, including management, treated us terribly.

Bad working environment.

if you are a new starter, good luck because nobody makes you feel welcome. You have to work there for at least 3 months for anyone to even remember your name/face.

Worst company ever

Tne career is good, however the employer is the worst ever. Greedy company. Plenty other companies recruting. You can find better somewhere else.. Colapsing company with greedy people.

Hard work

Really competitive, easily you could reach 100 hrs per month risking being fatigue most of the time. You've got a good pattern 5/3 roster, and staff travel, great colleagues (depending on the base).

The worst company you’ll work for

This is the worst place you’ll ever work especially for anyone that’s falls into s ethic minority group, the company in not inclusive. The staff are rude, management talk to you like dirt. You are paid peanuts and excepted to do everything at the drop of a hat. I would advise waiting for a better airline before trying to get experience with ryanair as it will be a massive regret.

Pros

Nenhuma

Cons

Atendimento péssimo
